‘EventHorizon’ is a print of an abstract shape, which emerged from an examination of the spatial relations between the mountain ridge, the tree and the shepherd in the painting “The Lonely Tree” (1822) by Caspar David Friedrich. The print is combined with a soundscape. It is generated from the depicted shape via a sound-design software. Although, glitchy and artificial the noisy soundscape reminds of wind. The image in combination with the sound being reflected from the wall creates an immersive effect for the viewer standing at a predetermined position in front of the image.
