Connecting Spaces pt.1
A multimedia sound installation featuring the first version of my reactive soundscape Ort als Impuls (Space as Impulse), presented at Galerie 21 im Vorwerkstift, Hamburg, in 2023. The exhibition included a series of found objects, a digital model of the gallery’s interior air volume, a book, and a red thread traversing both the interior and exterior spaces of the Vorwerkstift.

Ohriversum
A landscape of sand in a factory hall, inhabited by seashell-like acoustic ceramics, plastic plants, and an eerie soundscape.
The installation was part of the Sensory Threshold LAB 2021: Ohriversum — a neologism derived from the German word for “ear” (Ohr) and inspired by the idea of a universe composed of sound.

Red Threads
Since 2020, this ongoing series of recurring red threads has appeared frequently in my exhibitions. On the one hand, they act as abstract models for objects that cannot be fully grasped — either because of their sheer size or their conceptual complexity. On the other hand, they serve as visual and physical connectors, traversing greater distances or bridging spaces usually considered separate — such as inside and outside.

Substanzraum
2019 – A vaulted entrance hall of a classical building was transformed into a reflecting pool. The installation was conceived as a model or visualization of the turbulences in the air agitated by sound. However, it unexpectedly became a powerful activator of this usually overlooked transitional space — a place where people played, laughed, and spent time together.
